While many of us believe that having access to period products is a fundamental requirement, this is not necessarily the case. In reality, a sizable fraction of individuals in today's modern society cannot buy or gain access to period items. This is known as period inequality, often known as 'period poverty.' There are regional, national, and worldwide campaigns to assist establish period equality; improving access to period goods to guarantee that no one is held behind because of their period.
